Joy-Ann is one of 8 children born to a John and Jean Labinsky where she was raised in the greater Vancouver area in British Columbia, Canada. Married early in life and losing her husband to Diabetes, Joy-Ann has two children, a son Willy Racher and a daughter Victoria Fox. Joy-Ann has two grandchildren that fill her life with the greatest joy one can ever experience. With the many challenges that Joy-Ann has faced it has her goal of becoming her best. Always pursuing a life style that promoted personal growth allowing Joy-Ann to do the things she loves the most. Learning to pull her dreams off the life and working towards fulfilling them.

As I sit here in the morning light listening to the birds sing their song, my thoughts return to the day that my wife and I sat in our office listening to a woman share her dreams of what God was speaking to her. Through her words I heard a book. It would be a book that would encourage many on their path of finding their personal dreams and accomplishments.
We have been spectators and hopefully encouragers in Joy-Ann's life. She has definitely had some very challenging valleys that many would have refused to climb out of. She has always chosen to walk her talk, climb her mountain and wave her flag. We are encouraged in scripture to live our lives with joy, patience, faithfulness and self-control. As we have watched Joy-Ann climb out of her valleys to wave her flag at the top of her mountains, she has always displayed these attributes. In fact, it has been these very attributes, or fruits, as the Apostle Paul described them when he first penned them, that have allowed her to make those climbs!
